Sat

Hey,

just a question here.

My SAT1 is around 2050, which is not very good.

But i think my other extra-curricular activities are quite outstanding.

would my low SAT score hurt my chance?

P.S. I am applying through ED as an international student.

yeah. thanks a lot. (:

what about your GPA-and the breakdown of your SAT score?

hey thanks(:

GPAs are not applicable for our school students...

As for the SAT, CR:600. WR:680. Math:780.

your writing and math are good, but for CR it has to be around at least over 670. also if you're from a country which didn't send any students to midd before (or sent a few), your luck will increase.

haha all right.
so, that means it's very very unlikely i will get in with such low CR grades?

Any chance you could take 3 SAT IIs or the ACT? Your SAT I scores (particulalry CR) are not competitive for Middlebury. What country are you from?

I am a current student and my SAT was 2070 so don't stress it too much

chilltech, are you an athlete, URM, or legacy?

Sort of a related question: I have an okay SAT 1: 2130 (CR 720, M 670, W 740). But the total of my subject tests (Math 1 690, World Hist 710, US Hist 800) is 2200. Will Midd choose which combination they like better on my application, or do I have to indicate which one I want them to count? Which combo is better?

do colleges combine SAT2 scores?

i think they just look at them individually

Maybe they don't. But since Midd asks for either the SAT I or three SAT IIs, I wondered.

Regardless of whether they combine them or not, which set is stronger? I'm afraid I'll look one-sided with both history SAT IIs.

midd combines SAT II scores--it either gives you the chance of submitting SATI or three SATII scores. i would prefer sending both SAT I and SAT II, and they'll decide which one to look at. even for SATIIs though, take a third non-history one, like languages or math or sciences.
