do u guyz think the above equation could be possible???

hey you really dont need 800 to get a 5. i am quite sure that sat2 bio 750 or greather = ap bio 5

AP Bio 5 = about 60% on AP Bio test. Whatever the score associated with 60% correct on the SAT 2 would be the SAT 2 score needed for a five right?

from what you guyz r saying, AP BIO isn't really that harder than the SAT2. is that true??
what about the test materials and the depth of knowledge?? is it not that much different from SAT2 BIO??

in my opinion, i felt ap bio was easier than sat 2.
THe test format is just hard to compare
for ap bio: it's 60% for essay and 40% multiple choice
while sat 2 bio: you must try hard to not get any wrong.
SAT2 bio goes much in dept in biology -(it's hard to get a 700 or above without studying test books)
personally, i wokred quite hard to get a 790 for bio

My friend and I both got 5s on the AP exam. I had a 770 on the SAT-II, and she had a 670.

honestly, i'm kinda surprised. i never thought AP would be easier than SAT2 subject tests.

What about other subjects, like chemistry and physics?? Are they the same, too?

jac0625, I took Physics B independent study and got a 5. Took the SAT II Physics test in January (middle of the course when i was sucking at physics and actually thinking of ditching it) and I got a 690. Then, in June, just a month after my AP test, when im scoring 800s on the Barrons practice exam, I land up with a 680 on Physics. Its totally random, trust me! :p

Btw here in Korea are u? I graduated from Taejon Christian int'l last year.

yep, i'm livin in Busan. But i graduated from a Korean high school, so i have no choice but to independent study ^^;
hope i can get 5 in all my subjects (sigh)

anyway, thanks y'all for helpin.
i really appreciate it^^

Normally the SAT II is supposed to be easier, as a 5 on an AP exam is a much larger bracket with tougher questions than an 800 on an SAT II with easier questions. At times this is not true.

jac0625...i studied in busan for a year. lived in haeundae near the haeundae godanakyo (sp?). where do u live?

godanakyo?? lol
i think u were trying to say Haeundae High School, am i right?? ^-^

i graduated from Busan International High School, and lived in the dormitories. The school is located on Mt. Baekyang(i don't think you'll know where it is ;-P), which is like 20mins from SeoMyun, so it's pretty far from where you lived.

I got an 800 on bio my freshman year. The next year I decided to self-study the AP without the class. I read the Kaplan AP book (horrible, btw) the day before the exam (that was it) and got a 5.

Simple pimple.

SAT II scores really seem to vary among the people who get 5's.

Yeah, but AP scores don't seem to vary much among people with certain SAT II scores.

Theoneo, i got an 800 on the Subject test, too!!!:-)
whew~i'm sooooooooooo relieved.

btw, ur name seems unique. 'The One Neo', i suppose?! ;-P

Hm. That's [url=http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=107455]already been discussed/url in length.
