are they helpful? and where can i find them?

seems like its a pain going through a millions programs just to find the one you need, then plugging them in in the right syntax/format. is it easier just to learn the math, or does the calculator programs significantly help?

your opinions are needed!

I just took the november SAT Subject math 2. I spent hours the night before looking for programs, found some good ones, but didn’t use a single one on the test. However, if you really want to, find a program with all the formulas. Take it from me though, the time it takes for you to find and put the program onto your calculator, you could’ve memorized the formulas anyway.

use programs for things that you know its annoying. Like angle between two lines, length of diagnol of cube, how many lines in a circle can be drawn excluding the ones next to each other, etc and stuff like that. I remember just putting a bunch of those kind of things and I ended up using 2~3 very efficiently and save time.

It’s very important to know very well which programs you have and what they are specifically. I wouldnt wanna waste time on going over a list of programs during the tests and be like “Oh I thought I had this program” or “This looks like the quadratic formula program. Is it? Hmm…” cuz that’s a complete waste of time, not to mention that the calculator is pretty slow when it comes to scrolling down lists of programs.
