sat2 questions

how many sat2's should we take? im planning on taking physics, math, and spanish. im not to sure about how well i can do on physics though. is it a good idea to have more then 3 so we have backup in case we do poorly on the test?

i took ap bio and apush last year, but i didnt take the tests. im almost positive i forgot everything about both of them. is it worth restudying for them so i can take them or should i just focus on the new ones?

should i take spanish with listening or regular spanish. which does harvard prefer? is spanish with listening more difficult? i think that spanish w/ listening is only on one date. also should i take math 1 or 2? ive forgotten most of geometry and i am in precalc this year so im thinking 2. is that a good idea? is math 2 not a good test to take in general? i heard that you have to get a perfect score to be in the top 30 percent or something for math 1 (or maybe 2)

so are those 3 good choices? they look balanced to me. you might be wondering why im asking these questions here and not in the sat/act section. im asking here because i want the opinions of people who are planning to go to harvard, or are attending harvard.

also what score should i aim for to be competitive in the harvard race. (dont say 800! give me a better idea like above 730 or something akin to that.)

Thanks!!

I'll address some of your questions:

My advice to you would be to just focus on the 3 you believe you can do best on.
Harvard doesn't really care which ones you take, just as long as you are showing them what you know. All of the language tests with listening are only given in November, so... if you want to apply for entry next fall, you will probably have to take the reading exam. I took it in October and thought it would have been fairly manageable for a person who's had a few years of study.

On the math exam, look over what is covered on each test and decide if the level 2 exam covers material you are comfortable with, keeping in mind the scaling is a lot more generous on the level 2 exam.

And I would say don't focus on a number, aim for mastery of the information. But I'm kind of an idealist.
