Hey…does penn give more weight/prefernce to SAT2 scores or to SAT1 scores? cuz i have good sat2 scores but ****ty sat1 scores. SoOoOo…jsut wondering.

i'm not sure...but i have one bad sat II score...so i'm hoping they are not given too much weight...

Here's a good analogy that might work here:

SAT's get one foot in the door, everything else (ec's, sat iis, recs, essays) pushes the door wide open.

I read in "A is for Admission" (by a Dartmouth admissions officer) that at most ivies SAT1's=SAT2s=(GPA + RANK)

ok i talked to penn admission officer
she advised everyone to retake anytihing less than 750 in SAT 2's

umm... that's a bit late now.

i think akash was kidding ... i could be wrong, though.

*****, I have 6 770+s, but a 580 and a 720...does that hurt?

actually it seems actually very probable that he wasn't kidding.

and duskstamper they only look at 3 Satiis. so you're fine.
why did you even take so many hahah
