SAT2s and APs

I just took both the AP Chemistry and World History which I feel I was fairly prepared for an most likely got at least 4s. I also just registered for the SAT2 Chem and WH. I just have a general question for anyone who have taken an AP and then an SAT2 and just comment on what are the general differences between the two tests.

Also, if i were to go for 700 and above, how much preparation is needed in terms of learning new topics? because I have a conception that SAT2s are usually more broad but less deep in terms of concepts and topics.

if you feel that you got at least 4s on both exams you should be able to get 700s on the SAT IIs no problem. The MCs will probably be comparable to the AP MCs...

You know how you have to know how to do many equilibrium problems, reduction potential, etc? They don't exist on the SAT.

You will need to know more basic ideas and fundamentals (i.e., a gas acts most like an ideal gas when?) as well as some labwork and basic math.

The SAT IIs are a little like the MC on the AP, but much more simpler math, just tricky if you aren't careful.
