<p>Since most colleges nowadays require just 2 SAT2s.. will I actually hurt my chances if I were to take Physics, Math1 and Math2?</p>

<p>And why would you take both Math 1 and Math 2…just take Math2 and take another SAT2 Subject (preferably a humanity)</p>

<p>You should do a math/science and a humanity, unless you’re applying for some engineering program.</p>
<p>i’m doing all the science A Levels.. i could self study ushistory or world history in dec after my A Levels.. and can only take it in january.. will that be too late?</p>
<p>jhl - for those schools that require two SAT II tests, they will use the higher of Math I and Math II. For those schools that require three SAT II tests, they will only consider one of the Math tests since the purpose of the SAT II’s is to test your knowledge in the three subjects of your choosing. You have only taken tests in two subjects, math and physics.</p>
<p>tw14, i understand that.. so i’ll need to take chemistry and ushistory in january..(to make it 3 and maybe i didn do too well for my physics yesterday).. </p>

<p>well if u wanna know what i am taking, im doing chem physics french math 2c</p>
<p>only reason i did 4 was to be more competitive plus i am doing BME/Medicine so it also depends on what ur going into man…</p>
<p>anyways IVYs get so many of the same scores usually high 700’s to be competitve and i honestly think they disregard it sometimes and focus on ecs/ school grades…its just a way to narrow down the pool</p>
<p>and also ur lucky, american schools program kids for SAT basically…im studying in canada so i self studied all these things…im in junior year so ill be taking these puppies in may/june same with SAT 1</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure January is too late to take them for most colleges.</p>
