I got my results back. A 760 chem, and a 730 math 2. I know I have to retake math 2, but is the chem too low? Tell me the truth.

No, absolutely not. The middle 50% range for accepted students for the science SAT II is 710-800, so your score puts you well within the middle 50%.

From Matt McGann, [here](http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/apply/standardized_test_requirements/whats_the_big_deal_about_402.shtml):

omg thank you so much mollie! you have no idea - wait you probably do - how nervous i was about that 760. the 730 was a no-brainer retake, but the 760 was really making me nervous! you’re a doll ;-). hahaha

You can make that 800 and 800 easy. The math gives you about a 5 question allowance before you start dropping from the 800, and I didn’t study at all for chem and got 800.

I got a 760 on my chem SAT II, and I’ll be going to MIT in the fall.
