<p>I think I have obfuscation.....</p>
<p>obfuscation and 2221.</p>
<p>SHUNNED SENSATIONALISM instead of obfuscation...
it said that the work SHUNNED ___________, being analytical and stuff rather than controlling though fear. Obfuscation would just mean that it was trying to avoid(shun) complicated-ness.
Sensationalism works better</p>
<p>Also 2221 is right</p>
<p>yep its sensationalism and 2221....anyone remember more?... I can't wait to get my scores I really think I did well..</p>
<p>It's 2221 because...</p>
<p>Equation for median = n+1 / 2 (n=total no. of terms)</p>
<p>In this case, take n= 2221,
then the median = 2221+1 / 2
= 1111</p>
<p>Therefore, the last term has to be 2221</p>
<p>perfeito!
okay now does neone remember the CR passages and more sentence completion questions???</p>
<p>dormant :)</p>
<p>I remember there was answer like "magisterial " (though I chose another T-T)</p>
<p>I remember that the passage about teacher has </p>
<p>question asking "the author" -about a lie.</p>
<p>I was confused between "a student who said a lie"</p>
<p>"a student who reported a liar"</p>
<p>anyone remember this?</p>
<p>Is there anyone who remembers writing multiples?</p>
<p>For Polio, there was a question asking the purpose of </p>
<p>one part of passage (maybe first sentence of the second paragraph)</p>
<p>I chose that it serves to introduce examples.</p>
<p>I also put "general" for broad</p>
<p>and they all had the same goal, but different ways to achieve it</p>
<p>Cannot remember anymore...</p>
<p>I think math is relatively easier than Oct. SAT.</p>
<p>C.R. was so.so and writing, can not compare...</p>
<p>hope you guys achieve goals!</p>
<p>damn it damn it damn it</p>
<p>I encountered 5-6 mistakes I've mistaken
marginal
sensationalism</p>
<p>2221/ the question with the Sets A, B and C</p>
<p>I had in october 2050 ((( and this time what ? maybe even lower
I'm so depressed</p>
<p>folks, do u remember the l;ast question from the 2nd section (math)</p>
<p>General.
Student who told a lie.
Shunned...sensationalism.
With the mutiny passage, I was under the impression that since the captain ignorantly believes he is completely innocent of any wrongdoing, he feels a sense of optimism and superiority in being the only one of the ship's crew who acts morally, rationally, correctly. All the others are self-indulgent mutineers who act impulsively without ever letting on that they are discontent with the captain (from the captain's perspective). What do you guys think?
2221 --> 1-1110 is lower 50% of the data set, 1112 - 2221 is the upper 50% of the data set, 1111 is the median; if it were 2223, the median would be 1112 instead.
For the cats & dogs passage, I put down "mouse-hunting cats" since all the others, including "sheep-herding", implied a strong human-animal connection.
Capitulate.
Polio passage - The purpose of the introductory sentence of the second paragraph is to introduce specific examples.
Can anybody elaborate on "describe a childhood memory" vs. "describe a character sketch" for the teacher passage?
BTW...I had an Essay - Math - Math Experimental format</p>
<p>-same
-same
-i put the obfuscate one ,i was torn between those two answers though
-i think i put something else for this one (can't remember what it is though)
-same
-same
-can't remember
-i chose character sketch because it didn't really focus on a specific memory or moment, it was describing the teacher
-same</p>
<p>exactly. I chose character sketch, I was between that one or childhood memory. But the author never even mentions anythign that would hint it to be a memory nor does he ever mention himself in the passage...so...I chose character sketch....anyone have any thoughts about which answer is the one?</p>
<p>I put "a sketch", too. </p>
<p>As you said, author is not describing his or her childhood memory</p>
<p>but describing teacher's behaviors through the people around her.</p>
<p>What did you guys put for the question asking </p>
<p>attitude of people toward the teacher (I cannot remember exactly)</p>
<p>For the math question, I also put 2221 which makes the correct median.</p>

cmon guhys. keep posting.</p>
<p>why the heck bother. its over with. you can't change anything now</p>
