If i plan on taking SAT II Math IIC, but i dont think i would do as well as it as on IC, which should i take? I'm applying to really good schools like Rice and Stanford, though...wait, am i Required to take IIC? I'm desperately in need of help.

seriously bump!!

D's BF is a bio-chem major at Rice (rising junior) and only took IC and was admitted to Rice. If you will do better on IC, take it and not IIC.

Stanford doesn't require SAT IIs.

getting a higher score on IIC is easier. If you took pre-calc and all the previous courses then take IIC, cuz when you give your SAT IIs to colleges they dont wanna see someone who took like AP Calc taking IC

I believe both schools require SAT II's and if you are required to take SAT II Math, make it IIC (especially for Stanford) because in California, SAT IC is almost unacceptable.

Rusen Meylani.

IIC has a much more generous curve anyway.

I live in Texas...and i plan on applying to all the Ivys and stuff like that...so should I take IIC if it's my last chance? Even though i can pretty much guarantee a perfect score on the IC?
