SATII physics

AHHHH where do i start i just took my first test and got a 650 im so unfamiliar with the quirks and stuff all u 800ers help me out how to prep

yea i wud like to know as well... im taking it in june along with math2c.

the princeton review sat II physics book was great preparation for me... brought my score from a 640 to a 760 :-). i highly recommend it!

is barrons good ??

nice! i have pr for physics and barrons for 2c.

how in depth did u study in PR?

kaplan is good... i thought anyway.... got an 800 with a few days of prep.. i dont know how i pulled it off.

i just did all the questions in the kaplan book, and then i went back and tried to make sence of all the questions, then did the practice tests...

bsbllallstar8, what kinda physics class did you take? AP?

i have kaplan and i think it's kinda easy. I'm going over the section reviews and everything is pretty light and condensed. I took a moderately hard honors physics class but did very well in it. you think i should be ok with just studying kaplan?

I too would like to know. I'm three years removed from a BAD physics class and am preparing out of Kaplan's. For some reason Kaplan's practice tests seem really easy (even though I don't do particularly well) if you know all the formulas. Would you say that Kaplan's is accurate to what is on the test?

kaplan is too easy. pr is about the same level.

my advice is to buy some old SATII released tests and study off those.

Use PR, its sweet as hell. need help, IM me cause i am a nerd and <3 physics. aim in the profile.

no matter how many test preps you buy, nothing beats a solid physics foundation. so you need real physics textbooks and study the material not just for the sake of an exam, but for your own enrichment and benefit and for the joy of reading. and you'll be glad you did. don't rush. sit back and study. for your own good. so that when you score high marks, you'll be glad that the marks truly reflect the depth of your knowledge in the subject.

did you already find out your score from the may test?
