SATII vs. grade in class

How would a college view a (relatively, at least for CC) high score on an SAT II (740 in Bio M as a sophomore) vs. a final grade B in the respective honors bio class that year? Is this a "smart slacker" scenario or does it show the difficulty of the class to the colleges?

hah, i'm wondering the same thing. I scored a 750 on the US Hist Sat2 (and made a 5 on the ap), but got only a 94 for the course (weighted. we get a 10% weight, so it was like an 85 unweighted :( ). the thing is, the course was pretty tough. and the teacher was amazing.

High score + high grade = great
High score + low grade = slacker
Low score + high grade = easy class
Low score + low grade = not great

Just some BROAD generalizations my teacher told me recently. Then again, adcoms aren't THAT mean.

He (and another teacher) also said that a high SAT II can kind of overpower the low grade, just to show that the course was hard.
