Would it be more impressive to take two exams and get 770-800s or to take three and get 680-750s?

What is the Literature exam like? Is it similar to CR or AP Lang, or would it be advisable to take it only after taking AP Lit?

The former is generally preferable, as only one school requires three tests (Georgetown).

In many ways, it is a more difficult version of the CR section of the SAT.

Is it worth taking? I’m already taking MathII and World History. Would you someone who generally gets in the mid-700s on critical reading be able to do well on it without extra studying?

Try a practice test and see how it goes. I took it on the last administration (without preparation, though) and found it to be quite difficult, and I got all questions on the SAT correct.

Alright, forget that then haha. I’ll stick with two, and hopefully do better on World than I’m about to do on the AP tmrw…

two definitely. i also think harvard requires three SAT II’s, so if thats one on your list…

nah it switched for next year im pretty sure but its certainly not a realistic goal. not having to take three is going to make it so tempting to apply just for the hell of it tho when i finish other apps.

I’m taking two in June and then, if I do well, I’ll take a third in the fall. If not, I’ll retake those two.

I found the Lit exam ridiculously easy. I got a 710 having literally not studied for a second.

Of course you didn’t study. How would one study for Lit, anyway?

From what I can tell, your opinion is pretty firmly in the minority. Lit is widely considered to be the hardest SAT II. I did very well, all the lit kids I know did very well, and yet I don’t think any of us would call that exam easy. It was the only time I walked out of the testing room genuinely unsure of how I’d done.

Is it really considered that way? I had no idea…I found the French exam pretty hard, and the History ones must be not too easy. Honestly I was pretty sure I’d broken 700 on it. And I don’t take English at school.
