SATII's = Rejection?

I'm a Hispanic First-generation male applying ED to CALS within Cornell.

They were not required, but they were recommended.
I've had really bad science teachers, and scored a 540 in bio, 530 in physics, and 470 in chem < got lost going to test center, came in late and frazzled.
In us hist, math, and math II i scored each in the 600's. Basically the weakest part of my app. is SATII's, will they take the 2 highest, or will they judge me by the 470? Is it enough for a rejection if everything else is great?

I feel like my app. is really great, except for this one spot.
I hear they only look at the best, is that true? I also heard they just want to see you tried them, and are more leanient on the score?

They will take your highest scores. If the SAT II scores are optional to begin with, submitting them will look good, not bad. If other aspects of your background suggest more difficulties in preparing for those tests than other applicants have, you will be given consideration for that as the scores are considered in acting on your application. In other words, I wouldn't worry about it. Of course, everyone applying to Cornell, with its rather low base acceptance rate, should also apply to a sure-bet "safety" college.

Good luck.
