Satisfy Multiple Breadth Requirements?

I was looking at a course History 30B (it's full now), can you satisfy multiple breadth courses with only one course? The class satisfies the ones below and this is a question that has bugged me?

Oh yeah, and can you take a class p/np and still satisfy a requirement?

History- http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/requirements/breadth7/hs.html
Philosophy & Values- http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/requirements/breadth7/pv.html
Social and Behavioral- http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/requirements/breadth7/sbs.html

Thanks mucho.

you can't satisfy multiples courses with only one course. One course satisfies one breadth.
you can take a breadth class for p/np.

I'm not sure about that, BlueElmo. For instance, doesn't L and S R44, Western Civilization, allow you to satisfy multiple breadth requirements?

well, my advisor told me I can use only one course to satisfy one breadth...

I'm also pretty sure you cannot use one course to satisfy more than one breadth requirement. You may use it to satisfy History, or Philosophy, or Social/Behavioral, but not all three.

I think L&S R44 satisifies a breadth along with one-half of the R&C

a single course can satisfy ONE of the 7 breadth requirements and another type of requirement - such as Reading and Comp. B or American Cultures at the same time

one course cannot satisfy two breadth requirements; if it lists multiple ones (IS and SBS, for example) you can pick which one to have it satisfy

How do you pick which requirement to satisfy, by taking another class or physically on paper or online?
