Well. I was wondering if any SAT patrons could give me some advise on what things I should be focusing on to prep for the SATs.
I've nearly got my dictionary by heart and I've been reading as many I could find online, printing the ones I especially enjoyed. As a 8th grade student just starting to prep, what more can I do as of now?</p>

<p>You're only in 8th grade. You really don't need to worry about the SAT yet. It is not a test you need to study for and take for three years. You most definitely don't need to learn the dictionary.</p>
<p>Are you taking the PSAT? If you are, take a practice test or two for that but seriously, don't worry about the SAT this far out. If they change the test again in a few years you'll probably have to take a new one, and you'll do far better as a soph or junior than you'll do in 8th grade.</p>
<p>well, I really don't think that an 8th grader should be preparing for the SAT, a test which you don't really have to take until your junior year in high school. But if you must, I think all you should be doing at this point is just reading often.</p>
<p>***more info: I've already taken my first SAT exam last December. My score was 2370. What Im asking for is advice on how I should prep for my second exam next year.</p>

<p>My advice is simple: don't.</p>
<p>Your extracurriculars are in many ways more important for high school anyways. Take the time you would usually study for tests to make the lives of others better, whether by traditional community-service type stuff or just using your knowledge to be helpful.</p>
<p>what can you do? chill out and come back when ur a sophomore.</p>
<p>If you're an 8th grader and you got a 2370, you're destined for greatness. Relax. The vast majority of people on this board will not be able to help you.</p>
<p>You ought to be giving advice to the most of us; 2370 is an amazing score.</p>
