SATs? Chances?

So I'm basically an SAT cretin (1750 comp.), yet I do well in school-->3.75 GPA
(3/5 to 4/5 of my classes are and have been honors or AP level). And my school doesn't rank.

I'm heavily involved in about three extra-curriculars and put in significant hours into all of them, being Varsity Cross Country, the school paper (editor and writer), Varsity Basketball (all 4 years). I secured a highly competitive internship this summer--working as an intern and columnist for my area's major newspaper.

My essay is "beautiful" according to my English teacher, who happens to be the head of the English Department at my school. My teacher recs are good. I also have another rec. from a national sports writer.

There's more to my application, but these are the main pieces to it.

Chances, anyone?

Which school at SU? ED or RD? and did you have an interview yet? where?

applying to RD to the College of Arts and Sciencies, Newhouse may be too competitive. And I haven’t had an interview. Should I schedule one? Although it may be too late.

You should be fine for A&S…and yes, it may be too late for an interview…alot of students do really well in A&S freshman year and then transfer into Newhouse…you could do that if interested…I’m assuming your 3.75 is weighted? if unweighted, you are a lock…IMO…

It’s not too late for an interview-- I called today and got one for friday.
