SATS for Early Response

I'm applying for Early Response and I'm giving my SAT 1 again in November. Will the November scores be considered for Early response?
Will an applicant's acceptance chance increase in applying Early Response at Michigan?

I don’t think that your Nov. SAT wouldn’t count for early response, but I’m not sure. But I am sure that you are much more likely to get in if you apply early response. So if your old SATs aren’t too bad, I would keep them and apply before the Novermber 1 Early Response deadline to be safe.

My SATs aren’t great like(1820).
Can someone please tell me whether Michigan takes Nov SATs?

The website states that the OCT SAT is the last one for Early Response:

[University of Michigan - Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.umich.edu/early/)

If I plan to take the ACT or SAT in October, will that score arrive in time to complete my application for Early Response?

If you have taken the ACT or SAT previously and are taking the test again in October, you must send in your previous scores to complete your application. Once your new test scores from the October exam are received, we will add that information to your application and consider that in the review process. On the day of the test you must indicate that you want your scores sent to the University of Michigan so that we receive them as soon as the score is available. If you are taking the ACT or SAT for the first time in October and still wish to be considered for the Early Response deadline, you must complete the rest of your application by November 1st and we will begin the review of your application once your ACT or SAT test scores have arrived. On the day of the test you must indicate that you want your scores sent to the University of Michigan so that we receive them as soon as the score is available.

Ugh. I AM taking the SAT in October- just not my SATs. I’m taking the Subject tests.
I think I’ll apply early response anyway since during the Nov SATs I’ll just mention that they need to be sent to Michigan.
What should I do? I know that applying Early REsponse will give me a great shot but my SATs are kinda horrible.

Do Not Worry You Can Get In!

Michigan’s system is different from other Early Action systems. It’s more of a rolling batch system with an Early Response date that promises a response before Christmas. If you think that the Nov SAT will be significantly better then it may be better to wait - still send your application in November but don’t be part of the Early Response pool. You will still be relatively early in the admission pool - you won’t have an early answer but you will be in the admission pool ahead of people who wait til January.
Of course I hate to say it but everyone thinks their next SAT will be better - chance are it won’t be that different!
