Do SATs in November count for ED??

Thanks in advance

It did not count for last years ED applicants...I would double check with admissions and records

if you go to their website, it says the only scores they guarantee are ones prior to nov 1st... so nov scores aren't guaranteed (if they see your app before the nov scores get there, they would've already made a decision).

(heres the link to the post on the forum: http://nyu.infopop.cc/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/6934033161/m/347107872)

i talked to my counselor the other day and she called the undergrad admissions dept at nyu and the rep said if you think you can improve significantly on nov/dec SATs (SAT Is, not so much SAT IIs), apply rd.. if you don't think you will improve significantly, apply ed.

basically i think she was saying, a great SAT score will make you a more competitive applicant... so if you only have a so-so, average score that you don't think will go up very much in nov/dec, apply ed (it's less competitive).

hope that helps?
