<p>Depends on how low...Say you're valedictorian and score a 1350 on the SAT. Most colleges will probably overlook that in granting admission (except for the ultra-selectives). But say you're the valedictorian but you scored an 1100 (M + CR). Then you're in trouble due to the discrepancy.</p>
