A good day to you!
I learned English as a second language, so I have quite limited vocabulary, about only 6000-8000 now, comparing with the common amount of you guys' 30000-50000, it's tiny. therefore, dose the ACT require stronger vocabulary or the SAT resoning test?? If I have not much difficulties in reasoning.
thanks for considering.

hey, i saw some of your other posts, do you mind sharing who you are?

thanks for asking me.
I am a new coming student, i have been in America for just a few month, i'm now a junior, and i want to go to some top colleges.
I am from China, and the education there is actually much harder than here, so got a straight As here with four APs, and 3 800 of SAT 2.
but my english is so weak, i did some model test of sat one, i got about only 550 on the critical reading section.
so................

I never took the ACT, but definitely consider taking the TOEFL to balance out the weaker score whether you do SAT or ACT.

hey utoyxc, im chinese too, but ive been in the u.s. since 5th grade. as for your critical reading, its not as bad you think... a lot of chinese (or even asian) people i know dont score too well on the reading (for some reason...). my advice to you on taking the sat is this: if the colleges dont care how many times you take it, definitely retake it because some colleges combine section scores from each test to get the "highest" score. and also, the toefl is a good choice too (although i think you have to as an international student?)

I've never thought that people online are such helpful and kind, this is the first time i use online bbs,~~~~~

i hope what i posted helped

The ACT has much less vocabulary. I'd say to go with the ACT. I would also take the TOEFL.
