the college im applying to wants SAT scores only if you already took them in high school, which I did but they don't want you to retake them or take them now for the 1st time if your in your second year of college..

I think my SAT scores will seriously mess up my admissions chances so I am really worried about submitting them..if I don't submit them...can the school see that I took them and never turned in the scores?

really bad lol and im not the modest type that getlike 1350s and say its BAD!
and im applying to a private school (rather not say which..) also im a junior transfer

Perhaps submit them and talk about how you've grown since you've taken them/graduated from high school?

I mean, I would guess they might assume they aren't the best if you don't submit them, and they might wonder about why you didn't take them if they believe that you didn't take them.

Did you ever send these scores to this school before? (For example when you were an undergrad... did you either apply before or have this school as one of your schools that you could send your scores to for free?)

Also, many times the scores are on your HS transcript.

Most schools don't care about the SAT after 2 years of stay at the transfer school. But some do. cornell agricul. and lif. sciences (cals) is very transfer friendly doesn't care about the SAT and Brown may not either (Brown is also transfer friendly). Columbia, NYU, Berkeley, UCLA care very much for SAT (don't apply to these schools anyways - nyu sucks). 1) If you can crank a good essay and 2) you have a near 4.0 GPA and 3) the classes you've taken at your transfer college closely resemble the classes the typical student would have taken at your target college in the current major; I'd say you have a very good chance of making it into Cornell/Brown. If I were you though, I'd try and get into Duke but Duke is much harder to transfer into.

they don't care. i don't know what this person is talking about cuz they don't even ask for the sats...

btw my question wasent WHICh schools dont care/care about sat...my question was is there a way for htem to check that i took it if i don't send my scores in.

thanks for all the responses guys...just wanted to let you all know i realized it's not required of me to send them because i only took them in college (which doesn't count) and that is also why it wasn't on my hs transcript!
