<p>Quick question - does NU care about individual SAT scores or just the overall score? As it is, I have a 2100 but when it breaks down, I have a 630 in math, 710 in reading and 760 in writing (would've had a 800 if it wasn't for that stupid essay :/). From what I've heard, NU doesn't even look at the writing score, so I'm left with a measly 1340/1600. Will this hurt my chances?</p>
<p>SAT is but one component of your application. There are so many other variables in the admission process. Good Luck!</p>
<p>I would take the SAT again if possible. You may be accepted with a 1340/1600, but will need to be outstanding on other aspects of the application.</p>
