SATs

Hey everyone, I need some advice.
I just got a 2290 composite with 800s on writing and CR but a 690 in math. Should I retake it, and if I do but my CR and writing are a little lower will it hurt me?
Thanks

As Yale Superscores the SAT, they will use your 800 in writing from your first sitting. If you feel you can improve your math score – go for it – but keep in mind that your 2290 is already within Yale’s range and Yale also says:http://admissions.yale.edu/what-yale-looks-for

This is a great score. You may wish to retake it, they usually only consider your highest scores across all takes anyway. If not, you can also make up (if you are confident) by taking an SAT II in Math anyway~

if you had an 800 in math and sub-700s in the other two sections, i would 100% recommend retaking it, because so many people do well in math, but your scores are just what they like. your 800s in writing and cr are much more valuable and i don’t think theyll care about your 690 in math too much.
