<p>Is a 2000 on the SAT (680 CR 700 Math 620 Writing) good enough for Berkeley?</p>

<p>That’s the bare minimum for Berkeley. You’d need the bare minimum UC GPA (~4.2) and normal EC’s. Only then, with all that, can you cross your fingers and hope to get in.</p>

<p>Don’t listen to the above poster. A bunch of people at my school got in with 1800s.</p>

<p>It isn’t the bare minimum, though your chances probably start to go down if you go lower. The average SAT score is about a 2050.</p>

<p>Just going by the average SAT scores, there aren’t too many of them. (Not to mention you can’t go by one school, or even a sample of people without seeing the whole application.)</p>

<p>Think there is any leverage for a lower GPA (3.95- 4.0 UC) with a higher SAT, say 2200+?</p>
