sat's?

I am hoping to attend USC in fall 2010, and while browsing their website for information about whether i need to do the SATs or not i found this:

Test Scores
USC requires scores from either the SAT or the ACT (with the optional Writing test) from all freshman international students attending high school in the United States and all freshman international students attending an accredited American or International school abroad.

I am going into my second year of college in September, and it's not an American college / school or anything like that....does that mean I dont have to take it?

confused!

EVERYONE has to take it. its a mandatory requirement

When you say college do you mean 6th Form or university level? If it’s uni level you’ll most likely need to apply as a transfer student, not as a freshman.

Do you need financial aid? That will be a big decider for you to which colleges you can apply to.

yeah sixth form kind of college.

portugeseninja - im a very lucky one who doesnt

moizuhk - thanks

Wow, then you are super lucky! To apply this year then you should register for the SAT right away. Find out if you need to do subject tests, your colleges may well accept A Levels instead.

It’s also worth finalising a list of places to apply to, USC is still pretty selective so find a couple of safety options as well.

i’ve just done a practice one now, on this website:
