Sats!!!!

So, I was planning on taking the SATs as a 9th grader, but then I read that your 6 most recent scores are sent to colleges.

If you do really bad on the 1st one, but you get a 2380 on the 6th one, will colleges reject you?

I know SAT scores are not the only factor in determining admissions, but will it have an impact?

Thanks!

It should not impact admission. They would not expect you to get full score if you take it as a freshman anyway, unless you are a prodigy, lol. I did not know that you send your 6 most recent scores…where did you see that, collegeboard? I heard you can either superscore your SAT or just submit the best one…

Actually, yes. I did see it on Collegeboard.

I know some colleges let you superscore (MIT), but I’m not sure all colleges do.

Your score won’t really change after the 3rd test, so i’m guessing that if someone had a 2380 on his or her test, he or she would have like a 2300 on atleast 3 other tests and that would be fine.

And you choose what scores you send anyway-- score choice.
