Do you save your change?
How do you store it?
For how long do you usually save change before spending it?
Are you saving it for anything specific?

I ask because I just got a job as a waitress at a tiny diner and plan on saving all the change for at least a year.

I like saving my change and usually in a piggy bank. Usually I save it for about a year before counting it out and getting around $43-55.

I don’t work though so you’ll probably get double or more of what I get it. Nevertheless it’s still nice to save change. Having a few extra bucks never hurts anyone and it’s better than just throwing away money you worked for.

I have around $7 in my purple piggy bank that I bought at the dollar tree! LOL
Do you know if your bank has a coin machine you can use for free?
Last times I used coinstar (couple months ago) it took 9.8 cents per dollar!

I save my change in a jar and when it gets full, I take it out, put it in the rolls and deposit it in my bank account:)

I pretty much never use cash. I usually just keep my change in my wallet. Always good to have some for meters or the Metro.

I stuff it in my wallet and use it up when I get bad service somewhere.

I have some in my wallet for parking meters, some in coat pockets and some in my purses. But the bulk of it is in my piggy bank. Haven’t a clue how much there is though.

YES!

I have a bank shaped like a jar that counts the money as you put it in. Emptied it less than six months ago and right now there’s almost 100 bucks in it… I’ve kind of become a change monster now that I see how much it adds up! :)
