Hey, all!
I’m currently a college student attending a community college and later transferring to a university. We all know the struggles of tuition and that a lot of us have to pay back what we borrowed through financial aid. As an undergrad, what suggestions and tips do you guys have on saving money with tuition and extra supplies such as books? Aslo, if receiving aid, what’s the best way to keep yourself out of debt?
The best way to keep yourself out of debt is to go to a school that is affordable for your family without loans.
- Go to an affordable school.
- Find pdfs of your books.
- Cook at home and pack lunch and snacks for campus.
- If you're addicted to the biggest drug in the world, caffeine, buy in bulk and make it at home.
- No hitting bars with covers.
- Work a job on campus (or off) throughout the school year. Or two.
- Work summer internships.
- Nix the car and use public transit or carpool.
