saxophone masters programs

I am in my sophomore year of my bachelors degree and I am starting to compile a list of schools to audition at for my masters which will be in saxophone performance. Does anyone on here have any suggestions of saxophone masters programs?

The title was supposed to be Saxophone masters program suggestions but my laptop glitched.

I was hoping it was an exotic instrument I’d not heard of!

Honestly, there are so many good ones! I went to Florida State University for my undergrad and studied with Pat Meighan and can vouch for how wonderful he is. There have been many, many successful saxophonists (undergrads and graduate students) come out of his studio. I graduated way back in 1989 and I ran into him last year when my own daughter was auditioning there (for voice, not sax), and not only did he remember me, but he even spoke about my senior project recital (I did something quite unusual - and he remembered it, after all these years). And then this year, I actually had a professional sax question for him, and he was so helpful. Nice to know they still care even decades after you’ve graduated.

But, really, there are many fine sax professors out there - really depends on what you’re looking for. I can only speak from my own experience.
