Say my UC GPA is..

I had a look at the UC Application Form. They show 9th-12th grade. but only calculate 10th-11th. So if i put mediocre grades for 9th. Would they care at all? IT SAYS it disregards it, but I'm not completely sure at all. I'm predicting 10th-11th will be 3.8-3.9 UW. and SAT's 2200+ Any input on the UC's??
My chances for..
UC- Berkeley
UC- LA
UC- SD
UC- SB
UC- I
and possibly USC?

P.S. I am a resident.

Since you're a resident, you shouldn't have a problem getting into I, SB, and SD. If you're fairly active with ECs, leadership, awards/honors, National Merit Commended/Semifinalist, etc., I'd say you have a pretty good shot at Berkeley and LA too.

I think they look at 9 just in case. Maybe if you took any IB,accelerated, honors, or APs, they might JUST look at it.

Thanks guys. My freshman GPA was dreadful. My EC's.. Hopeful President of Junior Class. (next year). Varsity basketball. Basketball MVP. President of a non-profit organization. VOlleyball team. Anybody else chancing me?

UCB/UCLA: Match
UCSD: Safe Match
UCSB/UCI: Safety

flopsy - UCB/UCLA MATCH??

If you have a 3.8/3.9 UW and a 2200 AND in-state, I think you've got a nice chance at getting into Berkeley. You should be in at UCLA as well, and definitely in at the rest. Unless your essays/EC's/recs just suck...

uc berkeley/ucla: match/slight reach (depending on sat)
ucsd: match
everything else safe match or safety

thanks guys. any other chance me's?
