Say SORRY to UCs

First, i must say, UC schools are great and had always been my dreams.
My case is, I was admitted by a top university and I must say sorry to UCs (partly due to financial issues)

How do I tell them I'm not going to attend? I didn't find links or get mails watever(or i missed something..?) i never prepared to say sorry to such great universities.. I want to pass the chance to the waitlist ones, though i'm not sure about the waiting policies..

Thank you guys, any advice is welcomed :)

there is no waitlist, just don’t do anything

in myBerkeleyApp or its equivaleny, there should be a place where you can turn down the admission offer.

■■■■■ thread

Nah ducky…the guy (or gal) is just being a considerate person ;)

to OP: Just out of curiosity, where are you going?

Easy, just don’t do anything. If you haven’t accepted after May 1st then they retract the offer.

Thank you for your replies!

Kitkatz: I’m going to a top 10 but not an ivy.
blueducky: obviously it is not… honestly, I do not know everything about US school policies and that’s why i’m here asking you guys to lend me a hand

Duke or NU?

I doubt NU is a top 10 university. Maybe top 15 or 20, but not top 10.

Almost all the UC’s have a link to decline an offer on their admissions results page. I heard UCI had a waitlist this year…

Yah I think this was the first year UCI had a waitlist.

UCI is still waiting on me to reply to them whether I would join their school or not.
