Well, I can’t say my self-esteem is any higher based upon my reputation being artificially inflated, thanks to someone up on high who decided I wasn’t infamous after all. The seemingly arbitrary assignment of reputation without transparency is what threw me- I’m thinking, who on my “regular” thread has been complaining about me? Is that something we would know? Or if I report spam or other posters for unpleasantness, does that count against you? Or does any of it even matter?
Back when D was a middle school/high school student, I was fortunate to get great advice and suggestions from Marite (unfortunately gone), and I think from jym626 as well (and many others!). I didn’t need little stars or green boxes or “glorious beacon” designations to know they knew what they were talking about.
Anyway. Carry on.
Now there’s a thing I try not to do! 
Everyone was supposed to start out on equal footing, but that didn’t happen. We’re not even sure why a block of members was arbitrarily deemed “infamous”. How did I get 10 red and orange squares? Hard to say. I’m not going to let a few squares make or break my day. However, I must say I’ve gotten some good chuckles out of it, if nothing else at this point 
That is what I would advise as well. A lot of people in this community already know who many of you are. You have helped them in some way, and a few green squares (or lack thereof) isn’t going to change that. Perhaps the hope that this rating feature could eventually give a little something back to you may never be realized. However, please continue to do what you’ve been doing all along, because we do appreciate you for making this community what it is.

amanda, according to the list posted in another thread (I tried to link but it didnt copy-- I will relink) next is something like “much to be proud of” and its a ways away. The # of lovies needed to get to the next level jumps hugely at the higher #s. :eek:
