<p>so i've been pretty ok with my rank, 39/576. im in the top 7% now i read in a thread that that's horrible. im i mistaken? do i have to be in the top 2% to have a chance at hyp?</p>

<p>hey try me. I got a really small rural public school in a really smart class. I followed a guy through a red light on an otherwise empty street and just like that, my UW GPA is a 3.96 and not a 4.00 and i am 4/17, barely top 25%</p>

<p>and i got a really good recomendation from a science teacher ive had for five years who, though we dont do it anymore, had a student win grand prize at the international science and engineering fair</p>
