You see, I have applied to twelve colleges...I now have one college I really, really want to go to, and, lately, I have decided that I do not want to go outside of my living area so that I may build a safe foundation for myself.

Is this possible?

Yeah, it’s called withdrawing your application. Though you may just want to wait and see if you’ve already paid your application fee. Could be a self-esteem booster and you might get some good money.

You don’t gain anything by withdrawing your application. You’ve already paid the application fee, and they’re not going to refund it to you, so you might as well wait for the results.

OP have you already been accepted to your number one choice? If so, and you are certain that you will attend there, it would be kind of you to withdraw your other applications. However, you are under no obligation to do so.
If you have not heard back from your number one school it would be best to wait and keep your options open. You may just want to keep your options open either way. You may feel differently about your decision in a few months.
