Hey!
I'm living in France and i want to transfer to USC after Community College. Do you think the chances of getting into USC are worse if I would go to SBCC. I definitely want to make new friends and I think the social life is a lot better in Santa Barbara. What do you think would be the better choice?

I’d say your chances are about equal with either school. USC is selective even for transfers so, you’ll need to perform wherever you wind up. I trust you know, what you are planing to do is absurdly expensive. Please bring lots of money.

The costs would be around 180k (2-3 years SBCC ~ 50k + 2 years USC ~ 130k). Or am I completely wrong? Is the social life really that bad at SMC?

That would be absurdly expensive…

I don’t know what the social life is like at SMC.

<a href=“USC-Articulation Agreement”>Error; shows USC articulation agreements with community colleges, so you can check whether each one has courses that match up to USC courses in your possible majors and for USC breadth requirements.
