hello I am 20 y/o and Canadian and am planning on going to SBCC just for the Spring semester of 2016. I really want to be near the beach and meet tons of people and party while im studying. After doing my research I would like to live in Isla Vista because I feel it would be easy to make friends there. Can anyone give me advice on how i make sure I can get housing for the spring semester and if it’s even possible. Also, am i going to be hated on for being an SBCC student and living in IV? I am totally open to living in other places for students around SBCC. Is it going to be hard socially if i come half way through the year? I just want to live in a place where I will for sure be able to meet people, party and get a true college experience since I’m only going to be there for 4 months. Any advice is helpful
