SBU-GWU School of Med. 4+4

Hey guys, the SBU has been dead for awhile so I thought I'd try and revive it with this thread.

I applied to 4+4 program with GWU and I'm going crazy waiting to hear back from SBU to see if I got that 1st interview. I know realistically I'm not gonna hear back till Jan but my nerves didn't get that memo, lol!

So who out there has applied to SBU for the 4+4 Program at GWU as well?

Also are there any current SBU-GWU 4+4 program members on CC who are willing to shed some more light on the process, please do.

Good luck everyone.

I applied SBU-GWU 4+4 program too. I only got a Christmas card from SBU.

so wanted to revive this blog…
i just had my interview last week. Now i am just anxiously waiting back… so how do you guys think you did?

I applied to the 4+4 to SUNY Upstate. My interview is on Saturday and I am pretty nervous.

hey does anyone know if we get accepted to be SBU before we find out if we get into the program?

Yes, you should have found out your decision a long time ago if you applied in December, especially if you applied for the 4+4 program. I submitted mine in November and heard back in one week. I mean, if you already got interviewed, then you were definitely accepted anyways. If you haven’t been interviewed, that’s a different story and I think they never received your application, because I believe all the St. Bonaventure medical program interviews have finished. Good luck!
