<p>I've been accepted to Stony as a transfer and the tuition and housing deposits are due May 1st. The problem is that other schools that I have applied to won't be giving decisions until the middle of May. </p>

<p>If I pay, would I be allowed to just rescind my admission afterwards if by chance I get into another school that I prefer over SB? Of course I wouldn't expect a refund, but I want to be in a position to have an option.</p>

<p>Yes, you can change your mind at any point, but also yes, there's the possibility you'll lose your deposit.</p>
