We toured usc at the end of May this year and even did the sca tour but never got to see anything other then a sound stage. We were able to ask questions about the program while there but didn’t anticipate the tour not showing the facilities we were hoping to see. The question period happened at the start of the tour in an auditorium. I know from research that sca is highly ranked in the field but was unable to get a good insight into what the facilities look like. We were impressed with usc as a whole and it will be our top choice since stand alone art colleges don’t offer a change of heart scenario that is not very expensive. We will be unable to make a return trip to LA for a personal tour this year and so I was wondering if people had some insight into the animation facilities or the program as a whole. Just reading this now and we felt exactly the same after our SCA tour in July 2018.
We saw one stage. A real pity as we travelled from abroad.
