<p>Is anyone here affiliated whatsoever with the Student Conservation Association (SCA)? I'll be serving on a crew this summer and I just wanted to hear some other people's thoughts, experiences, etc. </p>

<p>I was thinking of doing it. But my second-choice summer program (which I may have to go to) ends two days after the last crew leaves. Doesn't it cost money? I wouldn't want to spend money to volunteer. I can do that in my local community.</p>
