SCAD animation or BYU animation?

So I wanna do what everyone does and someday work at Pixar. I've wanted to go to BYU since I was little and after reading things on how they have a good animation program and that Pixar praises them, I thought I was set. But there was a presentation at my high school yesterday for SCAD and their animation program looks pretty good. The speaker said that Pixar comes to SCAD to get interns and look at portfolios and stuff a lot and that it is nicknamed "Pixar East".

I can't decide what to do now. I know it is the talent that will get you there and a good animator is a good animator and it's not the education that lands you the job, even though it helps. I just wanna go somewhere that will get my foot in the door faster. You know, help me meet the people to know and get recognition and things like that. But I also heard that Pixar talent scouts come to BYU, so..?

And I know about schools like CalArts but there are several reasons why I am not interested in going there.

Thanks in advance for any information you have for me!

If you are not a mormon (or at least anti party/drinking/debauchery, which isn’t bad) you won’t fit in well at BYU

Oh I am Mormon, btw.

I have never heard of SCAD. I googled it, and a place in Atlanta showed up. Assuming that is it, I see it is $27,800 a year. BYU, as a member, is only $4300 a year. Is money no object or do you perceive SCAD as worth 6.5 times as good as BYU?
