SCAD MFA and teaching

Hi,
I'm going for my MFA this fall, and I have a specific question regarding SCAD and accreditation. I've been accepted there with a combined fellowship, I love the idea of living in Savannah, but I'm worried.

My goal is to teach. I've read through the various threads about accreditation and understand the situation.

My question is this: Will the fact that SCAD is not NASAD accredited have an effect on my ability to get a job teaching at the college level after earning my degree? When a college is hiring new professors, are they going to care if the school is regionally but not nationally accredited? Would I be able to get a job teaching in, say, California with a degree from a SACS accredited school?

If your portfolio of work, research, and prior exerience is strong enough, an MFA's an MFA. Even some people who only have an MS (primarily those from Pratt, who doesn't offer an MFA in graphic design) manage to get good teaching jobs.
