SCAD MFA Painting

Before I start, I would just like to say that I did read through the prior posts about what the school is like. I have different questions and I already have a BFA. I’ve been accepted to SCAD’s MFA painting program and I just wanted to get an idea of the school. I already booked a flight to Atlanta for the end of April, so I will see things first hand, but i still have some questions I am hoping some of you can answer. So I will be short and specific.

How are the Grad studio spaces? Do they have windows or a good ventilation system? I ask because I use spray paint in my paintings and I need proper ventilation.

What is the quality of work being produced by the graduate program?

How are the graduate professors?

Do the professors help students make contacts with professionals in the art world like museum directors, museum curators, collectors, gallery owners, etc.

How is their reputation? I’ve read the debate regarding who they admit and whatnot, but in terms of their graduate program, how is an MFA from SCAD perceived by other professionals?

Any information regarding the Atlanta campus would help too, except the night life and dorms. ie: facilities, professors, etc.

Graduate scholarships / fellowships. I’ve heard they hand out scholarships like nothing for undergrad, but what about the grad program? The fellowship I received isn’t even on their website.

Is anyone familiar with their teaching assistanceships?

That’s all I can think of at this point. I HUGE THANK YOU in advance. I appreciate it.
