SCAD, UD or PSU

So I was recently accepted to each of these schools. UD and PSU for computer science. I am in state for UD so tuition is much better. although PSU seemed to have a better program, idk if it's worth twice the amount to attend.

I am interested in computer graphics and animation so that's why SCAD is on my list. I do love art and love doing art but the field seems so competitive and the schooling is very expensive for the average salary of animators/artists.

And drexel was an option too but SCAD definitely is better for animation in my opinion. I do like the coop option. They gave me 15k a year (isn't bad) but Delaware is still (by far) less money.

From a logical standpoint i say computer science but i'd sincerely like to do animation. Please help where you think i should go! Thanks in advance.

What are the amounts you mean when you say “twice the amount”?
Overall I would say that no it’s not worth it. CS will pay well though so it depends how much we’re speaking of and what your parents’ budget is.
I would suggest a CS undergrad degree, then a Master’s, perhaps from Utah (they have excellent animation programs and a lot of students get jobs in Hollywood studios).

I’ve heard a lot about Utah and their and their program so that’s a wonderful idea. Maybe USC or something close if I can get in.

Where will you go for undergrad though? and how did you decide?
