Hi everyone!
Please comment! :)

Oh and sports! Sorry about that:

Varsity Track& Field (Freshman-Current)
Freshman volleyball
Varsity Indoor track (Sophomore- Current)

I don’t think that’s aiming too high. Being a URM should help too. Brandeis and Boston College are probably not as much reaches as the others. Think of a few matches too. Maybe consider some smaller schools? Middlebury/Amherst as reaches, Trinity/Colby as matches. Good luck!

You should be ok with schools like WashU and Brandeis, maybe even a school like Princeton just because of your URM status. You’ve been given an incredible advantage over thousands of kids applying against you; take advantage of your ethnicity and play the race card.
Being Indian, I wish I were as fortunate as you are. Not native American, my nationality is of India. Good luck.

I would say 8. I have a close friend whose a smart female African American too, her stats are similiar to yours in number (maybe higher in AP scores and a bit lower in weighted GPA). She got waitlisted by Colombia, so I think you’ll have a good chance too, and plus being a URM really helps! I wish I was one =[

Black and ~2200 SAT? Instant 10.

" Black and ~2200 SAT? " she is a female too.
Definitely 10, if she considers any science, engineering or technical major.

oh good! That’s better than I was expecting
Do you think a major in Psychology while on the MD/PhD (pre-med/pre-science) track give the same results as engineering?
