SCard picture?

I'm going to orientation this Thursday and Friday (June 28-29) and I was wondering if most people just upload a picture themselves or take it at orientation. If taken at orientation, were the lines really long? And if done by self, what did you use for the light blue background? Thanks in advance!

Just take it at orientation. You can do it at times all throughout the day so the line isn't ever really that long.

I'm pretty sure most people take it at orientation and sometimes those who send in their own photo have their card come out kinda funky. :D

I sent my picture in, using by brother's light blue wall as a background. My card came out good, especially since I got to choose the picture, and not just get some random one at orientation... everyone was really tired, so their pictures ended up looking bad.

The line isn't long, but for some reason my right eye came out much smaller than my left eye.

I was at the first session and the line was very long, took about 30 minutes. I'm sure it varies though.

I took mine at orientation, but I didn't like it, so I uploaded a new one the other day. So my pic will look hot when I pick it up in August! lol

Send it in. Then you can cut to the front of the huge line on check-in day and just grab it.

take it at home so u can photoshop it to the max...it stays with you for forever!

^Acutally, i've heard that on mondays you can get free replacement cards.

yea, but that's with them taking ur picture

Send it in. I haven't seen a good picture they have taken of people yet. Actually in mine, I look ****ed off (people call me the asian gangster or something =_=;; sigh)
Is there anyway to change my card;; Even if you lose it they give u the one with the same picture.... URGH

You can change you picture (something I've been meaning to do for awhile now)

Here's what the USCard website says under FAQ's:
Q: I don't like the photo on my ID card. How much does a new picture cost?
A: The photo on the ID may be replaced with a new picture. USCard can take a photo of a picture and an on-line submission of a jpeg image is also possible. The background must be blue. The cost, if the card being repalces is presented, is $5. If no card is turned in, the issuance of a new card will be treated as the replacement of a lost/stolen card.

^ OOH thank you! soon as i get a new hair cut I'm gonna change it! urrgh i hate that thing, people make fun of me all the time T_T

kk well it turned out that I just took my picture there and it came out fine, aside from the fact that I look like I haven't slept in days (which wasn't far from the truth) I think I'll just keep it, though.
