Okay, so I am a junior going to be a senior in High School and recently I have been falling for Barnard. But as I am reading more and more about the amazing aspects and perks of the school, I am also stumbling upon the outstanding resumes of other appliers. My own is not too shabby, but it is just so intimidating. Have any current or past Barnard girls felt this? (Thanks for reading <3)

Hey! I just finished my senior year of high school, and I’m going to Barnard this fall. Don’t worry–I was a bit scared too last year. I actually applied to Barnard with the mindset that I wouldn’t get in. You don’t need a 4.0 gpa, or a 2400. You just need to show that you’re what Barnard is looking for. Stand out in your essay! Right now, your essay (& Common App personal statement) are the only things you can change, so put a lot of effort in them! Hope this helps!
