scared about changing majors

i got accepted a sociology major but now i'm considering psychology, history or communications... is it going to be a serious problem to switch?

as long as youre in the college of L&S, you can easily change at orientation

there’s some overlap between the majors, so ask your OC to recommend classes that count for more than one major, or are GEs.

soc is pretty similar to psych. take some soc prereqs, try psych 10, take comm studies 10, try some lower-div history classes. you can either switch majors now, or wait til you have some classes under your belt.

keep in mind that for comm studies, you have to take classes and then apply to the major in spring of your first (and/or second) year. so take a few comm classes if you really want to apply.

for psych, you will be a pre-major until you apply spring of your second year, so you need to take all of the prereqs in your first two years.

what if ur currently in L&S and u want to switch to business/econ or school of engineering. is that hard to do?

Laserbase: to bizecon, no, but to engineering yes, because you would need to switch schools

well you have to realize that bizecon requires a pre major status thingy.

what kind of gpa would i need to maintain to get into comm?

is it hard to switch from schoo of arts and architecture to L&S or double major between the 2 schools?
i’m currently a music major, i’m thinking about bio or econ..

no, it’s not difficult to go from SAA to CL&S.
