scared........help!!!

hi,

i am probably going to get a D in AP government

and i'm scared that my admission might be revoked.

wat should i do?

if i report it now, will UCI still let me in?

p.s. HELPPP!!!!!!

What's your major?

scared also!!! A D in AP Biology fer shure!!! my major is biomedical engineering, however i kno i got a 4 on the AP test. iono im thinking bout writing them a letter, instead of that report grade changes. Plus i already have like 5 yrs of lab sciences from a-g requirements...

I dont think UCI revokes based on one D as long as you notify them immediately and give an explanation on why you got that grade.

However, if both of you know you will be getting a D for sure, then your only hope is to sit down with your teacher and have a heart to heart talk with them. Tell them if theres anyway you can get bumped up to a C- because you are afraid of getting revoked from college and explain to them your situaiton.

I remmeber my last year chem teacher made sure not to give any seniors below a C-.

my major is computer science, so government ap has nothing to do with my major, i reported my grade today through online. i'm really scared.

im going to talk to my AP Bio teacher tmrw, im really not good with words. Any advice?

Make a list of the points you want to make before you go see him/her. Bring it with you...that way if you get panicked or off track you can refocus.

Also, if you took practice AP tests, how did you do? If you did well (3,4,5), you might be able to argue that you should be getting a C- since you would possibly be getting college credit for the course.

Ask if there is anything you can re-do, or if there is any extra credit you can do.

You have got nothing to lose.

I doubt you will get revoked from UCI for one D, however, you have to let them know about your situation before they get the final transcripts. Letting them find out about your D themselves is sure to lead to the revoking of your admission.

Just let them know what happened and I think you'll be okay.
